Card details should be phoned to us as paper or email is not secure unless details are encrypted. We are here 70% of the day but might be at our work bench or taking another phone call and unable to answer yours; if so then simply leave a voice message and we will return your call when we are free. Any holiday or day closure dates are to be found on our "contact" page.

All orders are processed promptly. Goods are securely packed to ensure safe arrival to their destination. Postage/carriage rates (inside the UK) start at under £3 for booklets and sail numerals. Items are despatched by standard post at home (UK) and goods over £25 are despatched via 1st class tracked post. Items such as yacht kits, folding stands, and mast tubing exceeding 1.5 M, are despatched via carrier in UK and via air freight to overseas destinations. Items sent abroad such as fittings and sails are routed via air mail post.

ESTIMATED MAKING/DESPATCH TIMES (not including transit times) as at 05/10/20. Please be aware that as Autumn progresses we have entered our busier period.
Despatch/making times will vary week on week. We will advise you via email, text or phone, with full details of route etc, just as soon as your order has been despatched.

IOM SAILS & SAIL RIG KITS - estimated 21-24 days.
Other sails from our range of standard designs manufactured in synthetic material, estimated making time will be advised when you place your order. Note: special sails to your dimensions, plan, or templates are cut individually and are not put into a standard sail cutting run.
Every suit is made specially by us to order with the trim colour and detail you specify. However very occasionally we may have the odd suit, and if so it will be noted in the price list (section F6, 'stock sails').
COTTON SAILS are very much a specialist craft and our workload can vary considerably month on month.
UK orders. Not wishing to remind you of Christmas yet but by the first week of November if you've not ordered your "special order one off" synthetic sails you probably will have left it too late to receive them by Christmas! For all cotton sails, as a guide, we are now into late January & February delivery dates.
Thanks to everyone who gave us such favourable feedback on our products (see the various pages for customers comments).
We wish you enjoyable building and successful sailing.
Frank Parsons.

SENDING PACKETS TO US DURING CURRENT CONDITIONS. Do NOT use our Salisbury workshop address shown here, please ask us for instructions. Advice prior to sending a package or parcel is imperative. Returned goods must be agreed beforehand, see T&Cs.
COVID-19. We regret we have withdrawn the "order and collect" service from Salisbury workshop.

During part of June & July most carriers were not accepting "overlength" parcels such as our 2 metre masts/tubing, excepting ParcelForce who continued their service but with extended delivery times; at one point for some 10 days no parcels whatsoever were being accepted by carriers across the UK. With services restored we have now seen rises in costs by all carriers of their overlength rates in the order of up to 40% and inevitably this has impacted on costs for despatching longer tubing although ParcelForce rates are unchanged (however they are still the most expensive). We have absorbed part of the increase so that we now make no charge for handling, the only cost is that of the protective pipe in which the aluminium tubes are packed, so in fact we are at present subsidising the delivery cost of aluminium tubing.
